SUMMARY:COMMEMORATION: Graveside Ceremony and Headstone Placement
DESCRIPTION:Saturday morning\, November 3 for us. We have sponsored and by then will have engraved and installed a memorial for an unmarked World\nWar I veteran in Fort Worth’s Oakwood Cemetery. \n \nAbove is the central part of Oakwood Cemetery in Fort Worth.\nThe yellow arrow indicates the front (and only) entrance along Gould\nAvenue.\nWe will meet by 9:45 a.m. around the tree marked by the blue\narrow. Our program will begin at 10 a.m. By then the memorial\nwill have been installed only a few yards away.\nThe cemetery is being placed on the National Register of Historic\nPlaces\, and an observance for it will be held at the cemetery gate\nbeginning at 10 a.m. that same day. We want to have as little impact\non their ceremony as possible\, so please try to arrive early. It will be\nnecessary for us to drive past and through the group assembled for\nthat commemoration. \n  \nfort worth Nov 3 WWI \n
