Millions of patriotic posters were printed to communicate to a mass audience before every home had a radio or television. Your Country Calls: Art to Win World War I displays these dramatic images and bold graphics that called Americans to serve and contribute to the war effort through the power of the poster. \nYour Country Calls is located in the Russell Hill Rogers Texas Art Gallery of the Robert J. and Helen C. Kleberg South Texas Heritage Center. The exhibit supports the national effort to commemorate the United States entry into the war in partnership with the Texas World War I Centennial Commission.
