SUMMARY:The “40 & 8” Boxcar Story
DESCRIPTION:The 40 & 8 boxcars were used to transport American Doughboys in France during WW1. These small 20’ x 8’ rail cars would hold either 40 men or 8 horses! The Texas 40 & 8 boxcar will be on public display at the State Capitol for one day! Join the festivities at the Capitol and listen to speakers discuss and celebrate these wonderful artifacts.
