The discussion was facilitated by Dr. Geoffrey Wawro\, professor and Director of the Military History Center in the UNT Department of History. During this discussion\, eight readings were presented that were written around the time of the war\, with focuses on the U.S. on the world stage\, the mechanization of war\, and the place of African Americans in the war.
