The National World War I Centennial Commission recently announced two grant opportunities are available to interested organizations:

World War I and America organization ( is non-profit focused on supporting libraries and museums. They offer stipends and support World War I programming. They are support two application deadlines; July 15, 2016 and January 13, 2017. See their web site for more information. They are also partnered with several veterans groups (Warrior Writers, Words After War, and Wounded Warrior Foundation).

100 Cities;100 Memorials Project. This effort is focused on restoration off WWI monuments and memorials in the United States. Co-sponsored by the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, a committee will select 100 winners from the applications received. Click to see the link on the National WWICC website here.
